Korean envoy calls for major increase in bilateral economic ties

Tehran, May 29, IRNA : South Korea and Iran should make serious efforts to expand economic cooperation, South Korean Ambassador to Tehran Kim Seung Ho said Sunday.

Era of slogans is in bilateral ties is over, said the ambassador, adding Seoul and Tehran should seriously develop trade exchanges. Speaking at a meeting focused on Iran-South Korea ties, the diplomat said the two countries should remove the obstacles on the ways of economic relations. He further added the two nations should make joint endeavors to face the existing challenges. Economic cooperation will lead to better understanding of the two sides' cultures, he noted.
